OUR PROJECT

Our project "Together for the Future in Europe" will enable further exchange between the cities and is mainly addressed to the younger generations. The focus is on the three cities of Prato (Italy), Ebensee (Austria) and Wangen im Allgäu (Germany) and their partner cities Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Zawierce (Poland) and La Garenne-Colombes (France) are invited to participate.

Citizens should experience a sense of community by meeting people from other European countries who share the same memories of the past and have the same fundamental values and similar ideas for the future.

Although the project is addressed to all citizens of the participating cities, special attention is paid to young people and their representatives. Also involved are cultural contributions (musicians, performing artists, etc.), as well as athletic (such as runners, soccer players, etc.) and representatives of democratic organizations.

Particular attention is paid to the generation that is currently developing and growing and that will decide the fate of Europe in the future: our young people.

Now it is up to the young people to represent the already mentioned goals of culture of remembrance, solidarity actions and democratization processes and to live them out and represent them with conviction.
