TOGETHER FOR THE FUTURE IN EUROPE
THE PROJECT
For more than 35 years, there have been very strong ties between Prato and Ebensee (Austria) and Prato and Wangen (Germany). These relationships have been kept alive through institutional netting, cultural, artistic, social and sports events.
For the first time, the three cities have come together to develop a shared project by participating in a European tender (CERV). Given the approval of the project, a series of events and meetings will take place between May and September 2023.
The PoWECERV site presents the project, the participating cities and the related calendars of the events that will take place on the previously mentioned dates.
FINAL REPORTS
In the meantime, the follow-up reports and event descriptions for the three meetings in Ebensee, Wangen and Prato have been compiled and published.

THE VISIT AT PRATO - THE CONCLUSION OF PROJECT 2023
The timing of the 3 meetings for the CERV participants in Ebensee (May), Wangen (June) and Prato (September) was chosen with the idea of combining their activities with official and cultural events - also to have them participate in activities involving the whole population.
Prato was introduced to the young people project with the aim of discussing how a youth-friendly city can be developed and how an industrial district can be geared toward the future.

OUR PROJECT HAD STARTED AT EBENSEE!
From 4 to 7 May, students from Ebensee, Wangen and Prato met in Ebensee to start the first phase of our CERV project
On the anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp on 6 May 1945, the focus of the work was on the culture of remembrance. The CERV students visited various memorials and explored the topic in workshops, with the guiding question being: "How can we preserve the memory of what we cannot remember because we did not experience it, but which others, very many, experienced?"
More information on the Ebensee trip and activities can be found here.
The journey continued in Wangen, where the students met from 22 to 25 June.
The focus of the trip was the participation of young people in politics and the wishes of the young generation for the future. The students also took part in workshops on these topics. You can watch a video with the results of the workshops here.
More information about the whole trip to Wangen and the activities can be found here.
In addition, our activities can be followed on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Deutschradio.
